A community initiative by Norsom ImpoEx
Humaira Foundation is being established to support people and communities in the regions where we do business.
Explore our purpose01 / Our purpose
Norsom ImpoEx works with natural resins and the people who harvest and prepare them. Humaira Foundation is our commitment to reinvest in those communities. We want local voices to help identify what is needed, support useful projects, and document the results with care.
02 / Areas of focus
01
Support opportunities for children and young people to learn and build their futures.
02
Work with communities to identify practical ways to improve access to care and everyday wellbeing.
03
Support the people behind the supply chain while caring for the landscapes that sustain their work.
How we intend to work
Projects will be selected with input from people in the communities we serve. As the foundation develops, we will publish what each project set out to do, what was delivered, and what we learned. Our funding will come from the business; we are not asking visitors for donations on this site.
A message from the CEO
In my years of work, I have learned that a company’s responsibility goes beyond earning a profit. Fair payment for the people whose work makes our business possible is essential, but our commitment should not end there.
At Norsom ImpoEx, we want to build a lasting business alongside stronger communities. Through Humaira Foundation, our aim is to listen to local priorities and invest in both the needs people face today and opportunities for the next generation, especially education.
This is a long term commitment we are shaping as a team. We believe our future is connected to the wellbeing of the people we work with and the care of the environment on which we all depend. As our plans become real projects, we will share our progress openly.

A message from the COO
The people who harvest and prepare the natural resins we work with contribute knowledge, skill, and effort. Their contribution deserves lasting respect and a voice in decisions that affect their communities.
For Humaira Foundation, my focus is on turning good intentions into practical, responsible work. We aim to listen to local priorities, choose projects we can support well, and keep clear records of what we do and how resources are used. Education, health, livelihoods, and the environment are important starting points, but the communities themselves should help shape the work.
Trust grows when commitments are followed by action. As projects develop, we intend to share their progress and outcomes openly, learn from what works, and improve where we need to. That is how we hope to build an initiative that remains useful for years to come.
